DisbursementDirect to Arden Berlin
How Disbursement Works
💰 Nothing to pay upfront. Once your loan is approved, TSFC disburses the €9,000 (MSc) or €10,500 (MBA) directly to Arden University Berlin — covering your tuition and the €2,500 holding fee within it. No funds are transferred to the student, and there is no admin fee.
Your first repayment falls one month after the loan is disbursed. You then pay €537.50 (MSc) or €627.08 (MBA) each month for 18 months in total — €9,675 or €11,287.50 all-in.
⚠️ The loan covers tuition only. It does not cover the German blocked account (Sperrkonto), living expenses, flights, insurance or any other cost. GlobCred is a facilitator, not a lender — loans are provided by The Student Funding Company (TSFC), and the final credit decision rests with TSFC.

FAQ

Common Questions

What does the GlobCred loan cover?+
Your tuition is €15,000 (MSc) or €16,500 (MBA), less a confirmed €6,000 Arden scholarship — leaving €9,000 or €10,500. GlobCred funds 100% of that tuition payable, including the €2,500 holding fee, so there is nothing to pay upfront to secure your place. No funds are given to the student; the lender disburses the loan directly to Arden Berlin. The loan covers tuition only — it does not cover living costs or the German blocked account.
How much will I repay each month and over how long?+
Repayment is over 18 months at 5% per annum flat interest. For MSc programmes (with a €9,000 loan), the monthly instalment is €537.50. For the MBA programme (with a €10,500 loan), the monthly instalment is €627.08. The first repayment falls one month after the loan is disbursed. There is no admin fee.
Is there anything to pay upfront?+
There is no upfront payment and no admin fee. Once your loan is approved, the funds are disbursed directly to Arden University Berlin — covering your €9,000 (MSc) or €10,500 (MBA) tuition. Your first monthly repayment falls one month after disbursement.
What is the total amount I repay?+
For MSc programmes: €9,675 in total (€9,000 principal plus €675 flat interest). For the MBA programme: €11,287.50 in total (€10,500 principal plus €787.50 flat interest). There are no other fees.
Does GlobCred guarantee the loan?+
No. GlobCred is a facilitator, not a lender — loans are provided by our lending partner, The Student Funding Company (TSFC). The final credit decision rests solely with TSFC, and GlobCred does not guarantee loan disbursal. Incorrect, incomplete or unverifiable information may lead to rejection.
Who can apply — which nationalities?+
This pathway is open to students worldwide. Any nationality may apply, subject to Arden University Berlin's entry requirements.
Do I need a German student visa, and does GlobCred help?+
If you are not an EU/EEA national you will need a German national (student) visa, followed by a residence permit after you arrive. GlobCred prepares and submits your application end-to-end and guides you through the blocked account and health insurance steps. Living-cost proof is separate from the tuition loan.
What are the entry requirements?+
Typically a 2:2 honours degree or equivalent. Arden also considers candidates with more than 5 years of relevant work experience. English proficiency is required — IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 60 or equivalent, or Arden's own English test.
Are scholarships available?+
Yes — a confirmed €6,000 scholarship is applied to your €15,000 (MSc) or €16,500 (MBA) tuition, reducing the amount payable to €9,000 or €10,500. Your GlobCred loan is calculated on that net tuition, which is funded in full.
Is it a UK degree?+
Yes. Your degree is awarded by Arden University in the UK and is QAA-accredited (the UK Quality Assurance Agency). You study at the Berlin campus through blended learning and graduate with a UK degree. Arden Berlin is also recognised by the German authorities as a private institution; for specific German recognition (for example regulated professions), you can verify equivalence via Germany's Anabin database.
