What does OTHM Level 7 mean?
OTHM Level 7 is at the same academic level as a Masters degree (MQF/EQF Level 7). It is shorter — 120 credits vs 180 — because it excludes the dissertation stage (60 credits). Completing Level 7 at ECI enables top-up to a full Masters at partner universities worldwide by completing only the dissertation.

Visa — Bank Balance Requirement
To apply for a Malta student visa, the student must show a minimum bank balance of €12,000 (or equivalent in local currency). This is a visa requirement from Identità (Malta's Identity Authority) — not a payment to ECI. The money stays in the student's account and is shown as proof of financial capacity only.
Medical Insurance: Minimum €30,000 coverage for 120 days from date of departure, covering Malta and all Schengen countries. Should ideally cover the full course period (1 year).
